This is NOT a full payment module

This is an update to the Braintree PHP SDK and included SSL certificates. This update is needed by June 30, 2025 or these addons will stop working:

• Phoenix Braintree Credit Card (zipur_braintree_cc)
• Phoenix Braintree Apple Pay (zipur_braintree_ap)

PLEASE NOTE

zipur_braintree_cc captures credit card info on the page and sends it to your server before submitting to Braintree.

This means that you need to pass SAQ D assessment for PCI compliance - requiring regular vulnerability scanning of all your systems, individual user passwords and multi-factor authentication, regular checking for and application of patches and updates to all hardware, firmware and software serving your website and on any clients and networks used to access its administration and hosting.

You should consider implementing the Braintree Payments (Dropin UI) module instead, which supports multiple payment methods and keeps you eligible for SAQ A PCI assessment.
